Q: Do I need prior experience to start?

No! Our classes are designed for all skill levels, from complete beginners to advanced practitioners.

Q: Is Jiu-Jitsu Safe? What about injuries?

Safety is our top priority. We teach controlled techniques, emphasize proper warm-ups, and encourage training at a comfortable pace. Injuries are rare when training responsibly.

Q: Do I have to be fit to join?

No! BBJ uses body leverage and can work with all body types from small children to the elderly and every shape in-between.

Q: What should I wear/bring to my first class?

Comfortable athletic wear is fine for trail classes (T-shirt + shorts, or rash guard if you have it.) A gi (uniform) is required later - we can help you choose one!
