No! Our classes are designed for all skill levels, from complete beginners to advanced practitioners.

No! BJJ uses body leverage and can work with all body types from small children to the elderly and every shape in-between.
No. Beginners focus on fundamentals first. Sparring is introduced gradually when you are ready.
Comfortable athletic wear is fine for trial classes (T-shirt + shorts, or rash guard if you have it.) A gi (uniform) is required later - we can help you choose one!

We recommend beginners coming to class at least 1-2 times a week as consistency is the best way to build muscle memory.
